Nomination papers will be available for the November 5, 2024, Municipal Election beginning July 28, 2024, at the City Clerk’s Office in the municipal building located at 25 High Street in Caribou. The deadline to return the nomination papers is before 4:30 p.m. on September 6, 2024.
The following seats are available:
Two 3-year term seats – City Council
One 3-year term seat – Eastern Aroostook RSU #39 Board
One 3-year term seat – Jefferson Cary Memorial Hospital Fund
Anyone striving to hold an elective city position must be a registered voter in Caribou and must have nomination papers signed by at least twenty-five other registered Caribou voters.
